Orchidelia

Formed in 2021, Orchidelia started life as a humble self-effacing covers band, and in the course of time, transformed into the tight little power-pop powerhouse they are today.

 

With a sound that lies grounded in the powerful psychedelia of the American west coast you can trace a lineage from the likes of The Monkees, The Beach Boys via The Kinks and The Beatles at their whimsical best and ending up in the suburbs of Sheffield.

 

Releasing their debut single in the summer of 2023, Orchidelia have since released a string of singles on streaming platforms and have even found time to pull together a CD collection of their entire output in the Autumn of 2024. A series of storming sets around their hometown have helped them become a tight and powerful unit.

 

2025 will see their first venture into the world of vinyl, with an appearance on the first “Apprentice Piece EP” due in the spring.
