There’s a difference between something that exists and something that’s been made.
FOR 22 is the first physical release from Dead Rat Society - a 7" single that doesn’t attempt to smooth itself out for easy consumption. Two tracks, cut direct: “Fuck Your Northface Jacket” and “Weapon”. Confrontational, immediate, and gone as quickly as it arrives.
This is a fully DIY object. Every record is hand cut and etched, carrying its own subtle imperfections and variations. No two are exactly the same. The sleeves are produced in-house, assembled by hand - tangible evidence of process over polish.
Available on red or black vinyl, each copy sits somewhere between record and artefact. A document of a moment rather than a mass-produced product.
Strictly limited and numbered.
