We are back with another new addition to the ForgeMaster roster.

Getting new acts on board takes a fair bit of time – conversations need to be had; deals need to be struck, and pints need to be sunk. (We tend to have business meetings in the boozer where possible.)

When we started out, we looked for talent in the Sheffield vicinity, partly because it seemed an unmined vein of creativity, but also cos it makes life a bit easier (and easier for those business meetings.)

Despite that we were surprised that we managed to find the very next big things almost literally on our doorstep. (Well, a few roads away…)

So, we are extremely excited to announce that CHATFIELD have landed at ForgeMaster towers and big things are planned.

CHATFIELD started out in 2008 but after a few years of gigging and building a large Sheffield following they called it a day as work, family and life began to take priority.  But then we all had that bit of a weird few years - and after lockdown they re-emerged, blinking in the dawn of a new day and decided “what the world needs now are some seriously catchy indie pop tunes.”

And so, they are back. Back with a bang.

New tracks have been recorded and released. Gig tickets have flown off the (virtual) shelves and the next step is to gift the world some good old-fashioned vinyl.
