ForgeMasters goes international

ForgeMaster Records is excited to welcome Toronto's Next Week’s Washing to the roster.

Formed in 2024 by Rhys Newman and brothers Miles and Julian Duffy, and later joined by Ben Sawyer on bass, the band merges shimmering shoegaze soundscapes with post-punk bite and ‘90s Britpop flair, channeling the spirit of acts like Radiohead and The Verve while forging something distinctly their own.

Their breakout EP—recorded by Dylan Frankland of Tallies and mastered by Noah Mintz—captures the mix of urgency, nuance, and melodic power that defines both their songwriting and their live shows.

“You didn’t know you needed them until you did,” sums up the feeling. With powerful vocals, sublime guitar lines, and an electrifying stage presence, Next Week’s Washing deliver a sound that’s as immediate as it is memorable.
