Flowers in the rain

Sheffield's rising power-pop sensation, Orchidelia, has officially signed with ForgeMaster Records, marking a significant milestone in their ever-evolving journey. The label, known for nurturing boundary-pushing talent, welcomes the band at an exciting time in their career.

From their modest beginnings as a covers band in 2021 to becoming a finely-tuned powerhouse of jangling psychedelia, Orchidelia has drawn influence from the likes of The Monkees, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, and The Beatles. Their distinct sound merges West Coast sunshine with a northern English edge, captivating audiences both online and on stage.

After dropping their debut single in 2023, Orchidelia has steadily built a reputation with a series of digital releases, culminating in a full CD collection in autumn 2024. With an ever-growing fanbase, their electrifying live performances have solidified them as one of Sheffield’s most exciting new acts.

Now, with ForgeMaster Records backing them, the band is gearing up for their first foray into vinyl with a feature on the upcoming "Apprentice Piece EP" this spring. The collaboration promises to elevate their music to new heights, bringing their infectious energy and intricate harmonies to an even wider audience.

Orchidelia themselves remain as bold as ever about their future. In their own words: “These lads show no signs of stopping, as they continue to deliver new music, shake the world, heal the blind, and cure leprosy.”

With ambition to match their talent, Orchidelia’s next chapter is set to be their most exciting yet. Keep your ears open—this is just the beginning.
