Some releases arrive with a beginning in mind. This one only ever had an ending.

SWAN’s final single, “Riptide,” is here - a closing document pressed onto stark white 7” vinyl. No rollout. No long tail. Just a single object marking the point where the band step out of the current and let it take everything with it.
Cut in a limited run and available exclusively at their final ever show this Friday 17 April at Sidney & Matilda in Sheffield, this isn’t something you’ll find waiting for you online afterwards. There’s no quiet restock planned, no second pressing, no delayed digital drop. When the copies on the night are gone, that’s the full stop.
“Riptide” captures SWAN at the edge - all tension and release, the sound of a band fully aware of its own disappearing act. It’s fitting that their last move isn’t to linger, but to compress everything into one final physical gesture. A record you had to show up for. A moment you either caught or missed entirely.
We’ve always believed that music means more when it exists in a specific time and place. This is that idea pushed to its limit.
Friday night. Sidney & Matilda. The end of SWAN, fixed in white vinyl.
